Cette année encore on retrouvera dans les pages centrales du fanzine “Squee Mag” le Squad de cinq branleurs otageeks et leur extra-terrestre de compagnie dans une nouvelle aventure qui permettra d’en savoir un peu plus sur eux…et sur ce qui les a réuni !
Si vous vous souvenez bien… Sergueï est recherché par une équipée d’étranges messieurs, arborant tous des masques d’animaux parfaitement ridicules mais qui ne sont pas moins dangereux pour autant ! Leur leader, surnommé le “Lièvre” (Zajac), est un Biélorusse bien frappé, bien sapé aussi, et déterminé à mettre la main sur Sergueï et sur l’individu mystérieux qui l’a aidé à s’échapper de sa prison !

If things had been a tad different for Merle, for instance growing in his mother’s family and being raised in the newborn Crow Reservation in south-central Montana, he wouldn’t be quite the same man. Or would he ? I think he would have been happier, and maybe less materialistic - but still too much of a creeper to be respected and have friends ! (I guess that horse here is his only BFFL. You life sucks, Dominic).
As for the masochistic vibe, the only equivalent I can think of would be the Sun Dance: just as he takes “inappropriate pleasure” from that sweet science that is boxing, he would gladly perform this spiritual ceremony with the same intentions (hence the large scar on his chest. He’d certainly have one similar on his back).
…But to be realistic, he would have died young due to some nasty illnesses. Reservations first years sucked that much.
